William E. Elston
William E. Elston is a Pacific Northwest artist best known for urban and rural landscape subjects. He has been exhibiting in the region for over 50 years. Mr. Elston has also been teaching painting and drawing in the Greater Seattle area for several decades. Currently he offers ongoing classes in painting en plein air, as well as occasional Zoom based critiques and presentations.

Spokane Plein Air Workshop/Demonstration
I will be offering a Plein Air Workshop Demonstration in Spokane, June 20 – 21, from 10 AM to 2 PM each day. Anyone can sign up for one or both days, and either watch as a demo, or paint along as a workshop. Those who choose to paint along will get some one-on-one critique throughout the duration of the workshop.

Online, Interactive Painting Critiques
I am launching an Online Painting Critique Service. The service utilizes image annotation and interactive/collaborative software with whiteboarding capabilities, in order to create an interactive critique experience geared to a specific painting or group of paintings.

Work-In-Progress: Snohomish Valley Spring
Some works-in-progress at Snohomish Valley viewpoint. One is a reworking of a panel that I was not satisfied with. I’m much happier with the changes, both compositionally and atmospherically.
