Mount Adams From High Prairie 2

This painting is was started on site at on High Prairie. It's the second that features Mount Hood. I'm revising it in the studio, and will be posting the results here. The first session, working en plein air, was done during the Pacific Northwest Plein Air Event 2019, in the Columbia Gorge. The session lasted approximately 45 minutes before the sun had gone down. The mountain has been shrunk down a bit in the second session, although it is still slightly larger than it is in reality from that view. Mountains always appear larger.
